Miami Lakes, Florida – February 12, 2020 – Kellstrom Aerospace, a global aftermarket leader in aircraft lifecycle solutions, today announced the acquisition of an Airbus A319-100 with two part-out CFM56-5B6/P engines. The A319 aircraft was recently acquired and will undergo disassembly in Arizona.

Miami Lakes, Florida – December 3, 2019 – Kellstrom Aerospace, a global aftermarket leader in aircraft lifecycle solutions, today announced the acquisition of an Airbus A320-232 MSN 1648 with serviceable V2527-A5 engines. The 2001 A320 aircraft was acquired from Castlelake L.P. The airframe is currently undergoing disassembly at ECube’s facility in Wales, UK.

Wednesday, July 24, 2019, Fort Lauderdale, FL — Vortex Aviation Fort Lauderdale, FL announced receipt of its ISO 9001:2015 and AS9110C certificate. The assessment was performed in accordance with the Aerospace Quality Management System (AQMS) Standard AS9104/1:2012A as part of our initiative to provide superior quality and customer service. This new approval provides a systemic approach to review our business processes internally and then have third party validation of our system.

Monday, May 13, 2019,  Fort Lauderdale, FL — Vortex Aviation announced its expansion into Dublin Ireland on Monday, May 13, 2019. The new location will provide engine hospital shop visit maintenance activities to support its global customer base. Initial focus will be on CFM56-5B/7B engine models with other engine models added in the near future.
