Get an overhauled ASM P/N 2030157-102 per CMM 47-20-02. Replace cartridge assembly, elastomers and shims
Any ASM accepted as an exchange core (all manufacturers) with valid data plate at a fixed price
No DER Repairs. ASM P/N 2030157-102 is not a Test & Computations PMA ASM
Repair or replace damaged Pressure vessel or inlet cap if required
Test/Certify to OEM Performance on OEM Test Stand (only Valcor can do this)
Overhauled ASM’s are delivered with Dual Release FAA/EASA 8130-3
Overhauled ASM’s are warranted for 36 months from delivery to customer
Ensure that this Overhaul option with OEM hardware provides Operators with the lowest cost per flight offer of any competitive new, repair, overhauled offer

36 Month Warranty
Valcor/Kellstrom Aerospace warrants to Customer, that, upon delivery, and during the entire warranty period specified below, that the product furnished (including all replacement or corrected products furnishes under this warranty) will:
1. Be free from defects in material, workmanship, and design
2. Conform to applicable drawings, designs, quality control plans, and specifications
3. Be merchantable
4. Be fit for the intended purposes
5. Comply with all applicable national and local laws
The new product warranty period will be for a period of thirty-six (36) months from the date of delivery to the end-user
Mechanical damage to ports is not covered after the initial delivery
Repaired, overhauled, or exchanged product will be warranted for the balance of the original warranty period

The Air Separation Module (ASM) is part of the Nitrogen Generating System (NGS)
A Nitrogen Generating System (NGS) is a system that supplies conditioned air to an Air Separation Module (ASM), which produces Nitrogen Enriched Air (NEA), that is introduced into the fuel tank ullage, resulting in an inert atmosphere in the empty space above the fuel
In the NGS, air supply may be from a compressor, turbine engine, or APU
Conditioning involves reducing ozone concentration (Ozone Converter), regulating temperature below 200F (Heat Exchanger), removal of liquids, aerosols, and particulates (Filter)
Sensors monitor the parameters and performance of the system (Pressure Temperature Flow, Delta P, Oxygen concentration, Flow Valves)
The function of the Air Separating Module (ASM) is to separate Engine/APU bleed air into oxygen-rich stream that’s vented overboard, and a nitrogen-rich stream fed to fuel tanks to provide inserting
The ASM consists of a Membrane Cartridge and a Pressure Vessel

The ASM cartridge becomes contaminated by ingesting acid gasses in the feed air stream that compromise the adhesion of the fiber to the epoxy in the Matrix, resulting in feed air overboard leakage and poor Nitrogen Enriched Air (NEA) quality
An On-Board oxygen sensor indicates this problem on a maintenance panel
The ASM cartridge IS NOT REPAIRABLE in this condition, and must be replaced
There are some instances of direct fuel contamination from leaking check valves. Irreversibly damaging cartridge
Some operators have damaged the pressure vessel fittings during handling
Valcor can replace cartridges and repair/replace pressure vessel
